The Program
The journey will balance both professional and personal time:
- Daily small-group classes with a variety of world-class instructors
- Walk at your own pace to the next destination, where your bags await
- Daily distances range from 20km to 28km (12-17 miles), with taxi alternatives
- Mid-journey rest day in Pamplona for relaxing, reading, bodywork, reflection, and enjoyment
- Delicious meals prepared with an abundance of local flavors. (Special diet? Just email us)
- Accompanying English-speaking guides will share the Camino’s history and lore

Earn Credit
Credit and Certification: retreat participation earns 32 NCBTMB credits, and Elective credit towards Certification in Advanced Myofascial Techniques (CAMT, Levels I and/or II). Approved CE/CME/CPD credit (FL, NY, state/provincial, IASI, and others) may also be available: please inquire.

What’s Included
The all-inclusive fee covers the entire life-changing 10-day retreat:

TUI – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (Portuguese Camino + “Spiritual Variant”)
- 05/05 – Day 1 ARRIVE LISBON → TRANSFER TO VALENÇA (Portugal) → WALK TO TUI (Spain)
Group pick-up at Lisbon airport, then transfer north to Valença do Minho (with a lunch stop en route). From Valença, we’ll cross the River Minho into Spain via the international bridge and walk into Tui, a classic starting point for the final stretch of the Portuguese Camino. Overnight in Tui. - 06/05 – Day 2 TUI (REST / RECOVERY DAY)
A full day in Tui to rest, explore, and settle in before the longer walking stage. Overnight in Tui. - 07/05 – Day 3 TUI → REDONDELA (STAGE) • 32 km
Our first full walking stage on the Portuguese Way, heading north through Galicia to Redondela. Overnight in Redondela. - 08/05 – Day 4 REDONDELA → PONTEVEDRA (STAGE) • 20 km
Walk into Pontevedra, a well-known Camino stop on the Portuguese route. Overnight in Pontevedra. - 09/05 – Day 5 PONTEVEDRA (FREE DAY)
A free day for rest, wandering, journaling, and soaking up Pontevedra at your own pace. Overnight in Pontevedra. - 10/05 – Day 6 PONTEVEDRA → ARMENTEIRA (STAGE) • 20 km → TRANSFER TO VILANOVA DE AROUSA
Today we begin the Spiritual Variant (Variante Espiritual), an alternate branch of the Portuguese Camino that leads from the Pontevedra area toward Padrón, including Armenteira. After the stage, we transfer to our accommodation in Vilanova de Arousa. Overnight in Vilanova de Arousa. - 11/05 – Day 7 ARMENTEIRA → VILANOVA DE AROUSA (STAGE) • 24 km
Transfer back to Armenteira to start the day’s walk, then continue on the Spiritual Variant to Vilanova de Arousa, where we’ll stay again. Overnight in Vilanova de Arousa. - 12/05 – Day 8 BOAT TRIP (TRASLATIO) TO PONTECESURES → PADRÓN (STAGE) • 2 km
A signature feature of this variant: a boat journey (“Traslatio”) associated with the Spiritual Variant, linking the coast back toward the inland Camino. We travel by boat to Pontecesures, then walk a short stage to Padrón. Overnight in Padrón. - 13/05 – Day 9 PADRÓN → SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (STAGE) • 25 km
Our final walking day takes us into Santiago de Compostela, the pilgrimage destination of the Camino de Santiago. Overnight in Santiago de Compostela. - 14/05 – Day 10 FINAL DAY / DEPARTURES (AFTER BREAKFAST)
After breakfast, the event concludes.
