[re: 21: The Dynamic Pelvis: Your Questions Answered]
So useful. An all around great review and pointed me to more useful practices. I’ll redirect my assessment away from shape of pelvis bones and levels with more insight to glide directions. Chris’s approach to the client, testing, listening, observation and application was a wonderful overall reminder.
Checking in before during and after tests and techniques kept it client centered and collaborative. I found specific relative positions of bony landmarks to the person on the table clear as to anterior/posterior and superior/inferior. I’d like more reference (less technical yet practical?) towards a twist or rotation of the hips to the side. Or back and front, up and down at pelvis and hips whether relative to the table or head and feet. While less technical, it helps me 3D the relative positions of the person in my hands. I loved the reference of pelvis, hips and lumbars to structures above, head, shoulders, rib cage including muscles groups like QLs, a twist showing up from lever at the foot. That connectivity was so satisfying, like the spider web imagery. Overall it was superbly clear and helpful to reorient me within this rich body of work. Thanks, generous🥰!
