About This Course

Filmed in Thailand with ScarWork originator Sharon Wheeler and Certified ScarWork Instructor Wojtek Cackowski, this technique-forward training is designed to help you see ScarWork in action and build clear clinical decision-making: how to assess scar behavior, choose methods, and progress from superficial to deeper layers as needed. You’ll watch extensive demonstrations on real scars and learn the “why” behind the “how,” because no two scars (or people) are the same.

What you’ll learn:

  • How scars form and heal, and why scars can create wider tension patterns in the fascial system
  • How to assess scar behavior (mobility, sensitivity, tethering, “pull,” and layer glide)
  • Core ScarWork methods and when to use them: feather-light work, scraping, skidding, layer matching, and deeper/bone-level approaches when appropriate
  • How to progress the work safely: from gentle to more specific, and from local to wide-field strategies
  • Lots of real-world examples, stories, and practical takeaways you can apply right away.
